Rendering Liquid Metal

I have a client who needs me to produce a liquid metal (mercury effect)

If someone can show that they can produce the same level of realism as the image below - there will be some paid freelance work for them

if it's a still then it's some squashed spheres with a simple fully reflective blinn on them and rendered using MR. Shouldn't be too hard for someone to do.
