Help...cant find a panel i lost

Normally in maya you know how if (in any viewing window) you have the options pull down menu in the upper left corner, that contains options like: smooth shade all, x-ray view...etc...well i somehow lost it by accidentally hitting a key command to hide it...how do i bring it back up??? i attached a pic of where it NORMALLY is. thanks for any help.
