Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Anatomy Study

Hy everyone, i just got a new tutorial and was inspired by it. So i thought i would recreate it and hope it will increase my knowledge of anatomy. So here is the skull.

Here is my work so far and i am trying to create all the bones and create all of the muscles and place them exactly where they need to go.

Well i have the Zack Petrock Form of anatomy tutorial , where he shows in Zbrush how each muscle is placed. And even though i know some anatomy, i decidede to create my own skeleton model and place each muscle to enhance my knowledge of anatomy.Also this is a great exercise and the best way to learn anatomy.

Made the arms. After i will finish the skeleton model i will use zbrush to create high detail specific to bones.

hey - really nice job so far. looking forward to seeing how this progresses. keep an eye on your arms though - they are looking a bit too short.

Yeah, the elbows should rest on the hips.

Ok so you guys are right, i just mesurer my own arms and my elbow does align with the hips, and the hands reach to abouth the middle of the femur bone. So here is everything so far with the ajustments on the arms.

Yes it is a good tutorial and if you follow along and make youre own model you will improve youre anatomy modeling and sculpting skills.
