Original was based from the Joan of Arc Tutorial by Michel Roger. Update was after viewing Kurt Boutilier's Dragon vid's and Michael Mckinley's Poly head modeling vid's. A big thank you to the above mentioned people, plus the numerous unnamed helpers and influences.

I like that. Wouldn't mind seeing a wire and pre-smoothed model.

Yeah, but no but yeah but no....

The head looks really nice. The only anomaly I see is that just above the ear, but that seems to work well anyway in the smooth version (perhaps a trick of the normals fooling the eye). I personally think the eyes look a bit large, almost alien. Keep it up.

Yeah, I agree with fredriksson, the eyes are a little big for a human, and it looks kinda strange there above the ear on the last wireframe, but it looks good on the smooth version, so...

Thanks folks most helpful. I was planning to rework the way the ear was attached because, as you've said, it looks messy in low poly. Will reduce the eye size as well. Its strange the things you don't pick up on with your own models, Thanks again everyone,
