Duplicate Question

Ive started to model a head .
i know that there is a way to duplicate the side that im working on right now on -x axis and mirror it too . so that every thing that i do on the original side will be done automaticlly on the duplicated side but i dont know what settings i should use in the duplicate options box . some 1 can help ??

Turn on Instance.

yeah i know but its just duplicate it , i want to mirror it

You'll also need to have the pivot point at the point of mirroring and put -1 in whichever scale direction you're mirroring across.
