Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

shifting camera on duplication.

ne idea why a orthographic camera might b shifting position when i try to duplicate it, but other camreas do not do this when i duplicate them on the same duplication settings.

i think it's because every time you make a new orthographic camera it resets to focus on 0,0 on the grid...

why would you duplicate an orthographic camera anyway?

I had the same issue. I duplicated the orthographic view to append the image planes to. It was the only way I could use image planes without lag. The views LOOK like they are shifting when you change between them, but I'm pretty cure that they are not.
