Zululand Flavour unit-graphics for Civilization 3

I've been working on a human 3D model today, to make Civilization 3 units, and I'm going to start with making Flavour units for the Zulu Civilization.
I will base the units on the CivFanatics member Kal-El's excellent sketches which you can find Here!

Here's todays progress:

I've been trying to exaggerate some body parts to make them more visible in the size it's going to be in the game. Mainly the hands, but I think I will need to be more extreme. Mainly with the legs I think...

Finnally someone who posts! user added image

I found a picture of a guy at www.fineart.sk. It was a cau casian, but I edited it to get the colors I wanted.

Btw, I wasn't so careful with painting the texture cus the model is going to be so small when rendered anyways...

Here's a jpeg version of the texture. (Yeah I know there is a red line there that shouldn't be there...):

I think the models look very good. Are you only going to do one age? or all the improvements too?
