Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

hehe! looks like a bodybuilder now. I´d say the proportions before seemed to be more adequat. guess that's because his eyes are a little bit to small. I´d try to make the eyes somewhat more bigger. but what does the reference foto say?

PS: I have some hi res reference facePics on my disc. if you´re interested just pm me your e-mail adress.

excellent work here!

I think it´s getting closer to realism. I myself allways evaluate the subD version and tweak there as well as the polyside of it. but in the end I´d say -> a reference pic is very nececcary since you can ask the foto if it is right or not. I can only give intuitiv answers. I use fotos because realism in my opinion is handcraft/science not art.

can you give us a wire on your edge loops. something dosnt look quite right. I think the cheek bones are a little too low, and I think that the eye brow's should be looked at a little more.

Good so far mate.

Keep going!

He looks rather sad now lol. His eyebrows slanting upward creates that effect.

very cool job! the time you need for doing him is astonishing. I´m still struggling with the eyes on my head. but -> short change of subject if you don´t mind.

which lightning setup did you use for this render? 3point? I´m asking cause I like this plastic renders but never accomplish to set them up this way myself...
