how to make shperes and things a solid color

how do I make a solid circle instead of the see-through?

It's supposed to be solid by default
click on shading and turn of the xRay

hit 5 on the number pad of your keyboard.make sure your object is selected.you can hit 4 to turn the shading off.let me know if that works.
