in dire need of the inscription texture for the ring in LOTR

can anyone help me??, doing a project with the ring and need the texture for the ring in a decent image size, so I can use it as a background for either tracing so I can make it the file size I need, or a pointer in the right direction to where such things can be found..

Thanks in advance..

Carsten! Where've you been bud? We've been missing you 'round here. Hope you've been feeling ok. Anyway, on to your question: You might start with looking at some of Tolkien's reference books that he's put out on lotr....unfinsished tales, simarillion, etc. If I remember, he details the elven alphabet with images in one of them. Or if you want to go the nordic route, look into the Futhark which is the old runic alphabet.

I have the inscription on the ring scanned, in high resolution, b&w.
Lemme know how high res you want it and how you want it.

Found.

Here you go buddy.

RAR file contains one EPS with both inscriptions.
First line is the outside of the Ring.
Second line the inside.

The same, but scanned (less perfect, but handwriting instead of straight curves).
