Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

something i'm currently working on

i found a pic on some guys site and i decided to model the characer from it... i still need to do a lot of tweaking but this is what it looks like so far... it's this fish monster thingy. i personally don't like its feet and i'm working on making them look better.

i'm also having a very annoying prob that's pissing me off... it's never happened to me before. i assort the uvs in the texture editor like i want and save the file then when i go back in later the uvs snap back to the way they were before... it keeps happening over and over. does anyone know why it's doing this and how to stop it?

This is looking cool!

One thing that looks out of sorts to me is the way the front of the lower leg sticks out. It looks to me like those legs would bend the other way so this creature having kneecaps just doesn't seem to fit in my eye. Maybe Its just past my bedtime.

Other than that ... RIDE 'EM FISH BOY!
