Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Cheers man, I have been fairly busy over the past month. Trying to get a job and working of some new stufff for my portfiolio.

So I think holiday is just what I need. So I will be over there on Wednessday via Eurostar. Taking some pictures and the rest of it.

Fantastic stuff.

Long time no post.

I have come back from my holiday which was fantastic. Just what I needed. I think I prefer it to Paris in honesty.

I have also been trying to make myself a web site. I thought it would help my job prospects.

Still in the early stages and more updates to will follow but if some of you can give a wee bit of feedback that'll be cool

www.optical-minefield.co.uk

Still, with that out of the way I can continue with the task at hand. Updates coming soon.

Hey there Tim,

Glad you had a good break, looking forward to seeing some updates on your model.

I like your site, easy to navigate, do you really mean stainable future though?

Take it easy,

Mat.

hi tim,

Nice web page, only a few things.
I thought it would be nice if you could enlarge the still images on your web page. Especially since the black space next to seems a bit unused. Maybe you could just mae them bigger. What I always find interesting is alittle description with the image. Like what was the brief, wht did you try to achive etc. to put it in context.
I defenitely think a 143mb download for you reel is waaay to much. If you really want to keep that put a small web version next to it.
personally im not to fond of the green type, but thats just me.

good work

welcome back tim ..glad your journey was a good one ..

i like the web page ..just one thing though

when you click show reels and stills
then on that page you have

adam smith 3d modeler

it is hard to make out email cause of the color ...it kinda blurs it ..maybe different font or color or background color ..up to you
that is just one thing that stood out ..

maybe it is just my eyes but at thirty i didnt think I was that blind or maybe I am geeeeeeeeeez lol ..but i was looking more at perspective ..older and wiser people will be looking too . just some food for thought.

Yer, the plan is that you click that and a Quick time thing pops up where the text is and plays the reel. From your comments I think i'll change the thumbnail to a different colour. It's doesn't have to be the first frame of the actual showreel in honesty.

Cheers for that.

Hey Tim - the link to your site in your signature is misspelt - it is missing a T in Optical.
