Star Wars Walker

Now i know there are enough Star Wars models around for several more lifetimes...but what the heck...

Here my go at a Star Wars Walker. I started it last night, worked on it for about 20-30 mins so far.

I also just saw his months challenge so i might, when this models finished, modify it [so it's not untra star wars] and use it in the challenge....

As usual, opinions [good or bad] and welcom user added image

Great start!

Hey! Star Wars is a fantastic subject for 3d. The designs cover a wide spectrum, from smooth surfaces to blocky edges. A beginning modeler's paradise!

I like the first one better. The rounded edges fit better with the design.

No great wizardry. I looked at it myself when I was starting mine, and it is open in the toolbar in the screenshot you posted user added image

I don't think it's a bad thing to follow tutorials at all, as you say you can add things and change things as you want. I find they are a good foundation for expanding things further.
