Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Environment and lighting test for bird

Hi all,

Just playing around with the ENV shader and also the Sky shader to explore some 'interesting lighting' concepts for my bird character. (The texturing is just a stand in for now).

Any input, comments please?????????

Thanks guys for input!!!!!

thanks all,

I referred to 'Lighting Concepts', in my post above. I have tried to create a lighting for the bird that fits with the environment.

I have also posted the 'Rig' for the bird (for download) complete with character and sub character nodes for animating here at Simply Maya.
