Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! user added image

As per my challenge, and due to unfinished business, I´m making a xenomorph composition. (I know, "not the alien again", thing is I need some closure on it guys)

Since the challenge requires lighting to be present I figured I´d give it a shot by trying to replicate a shot from the movie AVP. For those who saw it, the first hero shot of an alien warrior is a very moody black background shot with almost no lighting present, and only accent lighting on the facial features such as the jaws.

I´ll post a composition to illustrate my shot in a few days.

Due to a character animation course`s requirements I`m pursuing right now, I will experiment with Zbrush and displacement maps to generate detailing for the alien. The model might start in Maya, or in Zbrush. Lighting, rigging and rendering will be done in Maya.

Have fun guys! user added image
