Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Render Passes

Hello people,

Just a quick question about render passes.

I have done this in the past using Maya 6.5 but never with Maya 7
I heard that it's much easier to render passes in 7.

How so? user added image
I just can't figure out how to render, let's say a Diffuse pass or a shadow pass user added image

Can someone please help me on that?

Thanks for your help

Kevin

i point you to this thread. it should help, although i've got to admit that the lack of images doesn't help much.
