I had some problems with vista and maya but was solived by turning off Aero effects in the theame options (the transparent windows was causeing the screen to go white when maya was running)

apart from that no problems with vista at all

I am running Maya 8.5 Unlimited on Vista and so far I havn't had any issues. But, I've only done modeling so far, no texturing or anything like that.
