How about this for a twist...

Neo is actually an antivirus program! That's why he's trying to kill Agent Smith, because he's a virus now.

If you think about it, it's not that far fetched of an idea. Your antivirus program is called a Virus 'Agent'. So now Neo is an 'Agent' and his mission is to stop the Smith Virus. user added image

I think zion is a second firewall. It is a sort of last stand to keap people inside the matrix. Every once in a while they have to do a reboot and clear the buffer. That is neos job. Flush it out. He has been watched and guided by the orical, morfius and the agents. Smith is going to be the problem though. He was not supposed to break free. Just my thoughts.

No Witchy... Its to keep people from fighting. Some at SM like the movie, others dont. Im fine with different ideas about the end of the movie, but i dont care to have one of my threads full of post that the movie sucks.

IMHO: Zion is some form of the Matrix. If you watch the trailers for the new movie, you'll see Neo flying in a hover-craft much like Morphius' holding out his hand, and blowing up all the squiddies with... seamingly... his mind. What is your guys take on the blind fold he is wearing when he talks to the Martix Core? And your take on Mobile Ave...

I think a clue to Mobile Ave, the place that the Oricle says hes trapped, is where the train is going. If you watch it carefully, the train says its goingto "loop"

hmmmm.

Perhaps instead of Zion being part of the Matrix it could be that just like Smith was able to "get out" of the Matrix, some part of the Matrix has become a part of Neo? Which would explain the end of the second movie.

Was it me or did you see blood comming from the blind fold? I'll have to check again now. arg.

IMO Smith did get out of the Matrix, but was then put into the Zion program. There are ALOT of clues pointing to Zion being a matrix, then again, there are suttle clues proving its not...
