Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Primitives Battle

The primitives battle is finished, so cast your votes for the best one. You can visit the Battle forum to see the entries (read the posts to find out which one is intended to be the submission) or the competitors can re-post their images here.

You can read the criteria in the battle forum, but the basic idea was to create a scene using 50 or less primitives and light only. Definitely some cool results. If you didn't get a chance to enter but want to give it a try (it can be really easy), feel free to post your images in this thread too. I only had time to do a quick and dirty example image, but since it meets the requirements I guess I'll post it as my entry .

Good luck!

I voted for GecT, but I had forgotten about Chirone, as he forgot to post, so an informal switch.

Nothing against GecT's, of course, it was amazing too!
