I got tired of building armatures, sculpting plasticine, setting up lights and dealing with hot sets. 3D is so much cleaner than stop motion. user added image

Oh, and developing game content is fun. user added image

The constant flow of creative ideas that I have had in my head is extrealy frustrating. All my life I have strived to explain, express and recreated the wonderful things i have imagined in my head. I chose 3D because I feel that, once skill allows, I will be able to recreate my ideas, and share them with the world!

Started off building Maps for game Mods and needed cretin objects in the level like trash dumpsters and light polls and never a molder on the team so I did them my self, so when I started with Maya I thought how crazy cool is this and never stopped.

I think it was when i first got Worldcraft (the halflife level maker), a long time ago. That was my first interest in 3d.

I started out programming 3d engines in qbasic on my dos machine a long time ago, before modelling programs were very popular/not too expensive.

But then I got out of it because once I had a good engine made, I had to type in the location of every vertex and its connections. It really sucked.
