animated writing tut

i just got an idea for a "diary entry" animation but i need to know how to animate writing so if anyone could tell me how to do it or post a link to a tut that'd be great thanksuser added image :bow:

If you get 3D world there was a tutorial on how to do this a while back, cant remember which issue it is tho user added image
