I downloaded lot's of videos abbout texturing but all of that was for photoshop. SO:

How to apply texture to object. How to make UV map?

Well if you dont got any money to spend on tutorials do what Gster said and look up at the help files.

And when searching in google etc. dont just use the words texturing, put in words like Maya to. I personally dislike free vidio tutorials as they almost always have low resolution and bad sound. So I recomend that you use the help files or any other text based tutorial.

well i saw them, but i can't find edit polygons in the menu. I try in animation, rendering, modeling, EVRYTHING, but i don't find it. can you help me somehow?

Well you should be able to find edit polygons here if you choose Modeling. user added image

Well make sure that you use the same version as the tutorial, you seem to use Maya 8+.

yes, i'm using maya 8.5. I can't find any tutorials for maya 8.5(texturing). can you find me some text or video tutorial about texturing in maya?

Well if you find some video tut for maya 7 , 6 .. it will worked for maya 8 ... just some options may be moved user added image and you must spend some time finding it .. good luck user added image
