slow mouse

Hi,

When I use maya, my mouse movements is very slow (like if I was really using a pen on a A5 tablet). Is that just the way it is, or can I adjust that somewhere? user added image

I don't belive it's because of my ram or cpu, i'm on a fast machine. If I use MAYA mouse is slow, if I go to another window, a browser for instant still with maya on, my mouse speed goes back to normal. So it must be something maya does...
