cannot convert to sub-div
when i try to convert to a sub division there is a error saying
"Error: Command polyToSubdiv failed"
i tried again with a shortcut on my shelf and another message says "result 0"
but the the model didnt get smother.
why cant i convert.
the previous day it was working fine. i loaded one of my earlier saves and those didnt work either..
PLS help!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly this is a post for the Modeling section, as thats what it is.
But the prob you have is quite simple to deal with.
In the convert poly-subds menu the 'maximum base mesh faces' is probably too low. If you go to the script editor after the error result 0 read the line after and it will tell you how many faces its trying to convert but cant, so the mesh you have is OVER the count in the convert menu, simply bang the number up.
