Spread pieces after shatter effect

Is there any simple way to spread pieces after I've used the shatter effect?
I can do it manually, but that's a big work when i'm dealing with many pieces.

applying a radial field will cause the pieces to disperse in all directions...

...you can also turn the shards into active rigid bodies and by colliding them with other polys you can control the direction in which they disperse...

...i hoped i helped man. take care and good luck with project.
