Simple beginer question

Hello:
I would like to know if there is a method to place a new object in a different place than (0,0).
Is there a fast way for placing the pivot point of an object to the object from 0,0 FE?, cause i can handle manually but i am sure there must be a simpler way.

Thanks very much in advance.

i am pretty sure that if you use the options you can choose where you want the object created.

eks: Create -> polygons -> cube -> options (the little square)

I do use snap Nem, "X,C,V" FE but......
Suppose u have a cilinder and want the pivot to hit the middle of the front circule so as to make it turn like a wheel, i am talking about a pefect turn due to perfect position of the pivot.
Question:
How do u do this by eye or u just make the cilinder according to the grid and that way i have the center of the cilinder somewhere in the grid to snap it ?.
Is there a way to snap straight on the middle of the face?

Thanks very much for the answer

Hi JOse3, to make the pivot centre the circle you just have to do so:

select the object > modify > centre pivot
