Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Here is the link to the PearPC project site on SourceForge:

https://pearpc.sourceforge.net/

It's only a 0.1 release, so it's probably going to suck majorly.

Whhhhooooooaaaaaa! Bloody hell! So what you're basically saying is I can run Max OX X... on my Win XP machine?!!! F*** me!!! LMAO! I have a friend who's a diehard Mac user and I'm sure it might get me back in his good graces when I tell him I'd be using the Mac OS software on my Winblows PC (putrid crap as he'd call it). Thanks for the links, guys! When they get it working a bit better, I'll give it a try. BTW, what can you do with OS X anywho? I'm so far behind on Mac technology and software, it's sad.

OS X is just another operating system. You can run pretty much the same apps as Windows (with some differences of course). I personally prefer OS X to XP. Others will have different opinions. In general, either platform will get the job done. It boils down to which specific software you need for your work. I use my Mac for just about everything, including working in Maya. The only reason I even own a Windows machine is to run 3DS Max (which is Windows-only) for my freelance work.
