Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

I've run out of time to do any more to mine, so here it is.
It's not the same idea as I started out with, just didn't have the time to do much, but it is the same head mesh I built for the Jason character so something good came out of it! lol
Here's the link to the Wip thread as requested....

And my final image for the challenge

W.I.P = Here

https://www.ravage3d.com/images/trapj...pjaw_Final.jpg

Very proud how clean this model is and I love the facial shape I modelled. Just wish I had more spare time this month to do this more justice.

- Quick test video

Will carry on with this one until he is done.

Great comp idea - glad so many took part - have missed these challenges.

Ok here it is at long last. I have been rendering and touching up all day to get it how it want it too look. I did two final renders in different positions and wasnt sure which one to go with but finally went with the image below as it was my original idea.

The other render can be seen in my WIP thread

Thanks for input and good luck to all that entered.

I realy like s2 speedy's entry. I like that it has a kind of game feel to it and it looks the most complete. I think trapjaw is awesome too. I inmediatly downloaded the refrence image user added image. The mechanical arm was coming around nicely. I hope you finish it. Id like to see the end result.
