ok, i started modeling to come up with an idea, this however is not the model, its the concept. i love to concept in 3d, because its easier to visualize, this is the IDEA after 10 minutes:

i know its bad, but you get the idea?

I don't think you can call anything in it's early stages "bad;" conceptual artwork has traditionally been 2d, paper-drawn, but it doesn't always have to be that way. Your concept is something that can be built upon, and can be made into something very impressive.

So stop reading and start modeling! :p

Looks good.
Stop saying every thing you do is bad, most of the time it isn't but when you say that it is people will think that too.

I like some of the choices you made with the machine, like the shape of the window, and the smoke stock looks allot better smaller like that, also the addition of legs makes it look more spider like, which i think is pretty cool, and it looks like your keeping it pretty much low poly, keep up the great work.
