Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

There are excellent ones at Digital Tutors, though you have to pay for them. I haven't bought them (someone gave them to me) so I'm not sure of the price. I think it's called the Character Setup Kit, and it is very good, thorough and detailed.

cheers,

What do you mean, free ones, tutorials or just great examples?

I use basic guy and set up machine rigs atm.
You can make your own but if you just want to get good at animation then dont bother learning to rig imo, all depends though.

Dude, wait till you see the animation mentor one, you will litterally wet yourself at how good it is.
