Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Alright then I will lower the bump settings on the ventilation shaft. As a matter of fact did some tweaking of it at school today.

It's not like this project have been standing still this week. No, no we have been working really hard. Most of the background settings are done, and the tedious work of texturizing and setting lights to it has begun.

Hold on people and check back soon, there will be a sneak pre-view this weekend, if everything work out as planed (not talking about the animation, there are couple of weeks of work before we can show you guys some movement).

We might be needing some serious tips/help with the wall texture, but more of that when we get around to it (ohh, hoped that maked some sense).

The current situation on the background for the animation. There's still alot of work left on the background before it's complete.

The building on the far right side of the picture hasn't been bumped correctley (it might even lack it now, heh). The windows hasn't even been uv-mapped yet. That will be done tomorrow and the texturing of that will begin. Also the steel-bar that are in the middle of the buildings, will be re-textured (have done a textured for it earlier but wasn't happy with it). The facade of the houses are not done yet, it need to look more worn (or what's it called). It might look cool with some graffiti.

Spiritius has been fidiling with some lightning experiments, his results will hopefully be posted later this week.

Pai check on the picture:

We have had our final exam for this project in our school. Hopefully we can put up the movie soon also. Just need to do one more render of it (too big now...)

Now we also have sound and intro+outro-sequences.
