Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Not bad. I liked the mechanical stuff at the beginning. The character animations were a bit jerky, though.

Not bad at all.

Thanks!

Yeah, my character animation is still awful. I figure I'll just apply as an animator of mechanical things until I can get in to animationmentor.com.

Thanks again! user added image

I like it, but I think the first part (mecanical) should have been rendered in another way. Maybe cartoonish with border in MR or go for realism with better texturing. But this is a personal preference.

Also, the arms of the girl seem to swing a little too much.

I am looking forward to see animation of the cat, and possibly it running after the evil mouse who is torturing the poor elephant!

Excellent.....

The anaesthetics machine is very well thought out - the video makes it very clear exactly how it works. The dynamics I especially like - using two partical streams showing to show oxygen and halothane is a great idea. I like the way the detail is not overdone - this can really spoil the effect when the main idea is to show the way something works..........

Good luck Aja

Thanks, guys!! I did need to keep the anesthesia equipment rather simplistic.... if they want detail, they get it in the lab. user added image

Fubar, I put a Windows Media version up on the site. Let me know if it doesn't work!
