Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Lowpoly game character tutorial WIP

Hey folks

Thought I'd post what I've completed so far by following the low poly game character tutorial.

This is the first simply maya video tut I've followed.

I'm working on the texture at this stage and will post my progression till its finished.

Any advice, crits welcome.

Enjoy,

Spaceface.

Hi

Spacefacer, I hope you are okay with it if I use this thread also to post my Lowpoly character work.

This is what I have got so far. I think it looks a bit "plastic" when i render it especially the boots. I tried some stuff with specmap values but it doesn't realy help. Further more if you compare my models facial expression with that of kurts my character looks a bit scared or like he is taking a dump...
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
