different walk cycles

Hello,

I'd like to create different walk cycles for my character..
What is the proper way to do this? Should I use the visor?

Should i make multiple copies of my character, and have a different cycle on each?

Thanks for the help.

I havent used it yet, but isnt the trax feature perfect for something like that? I have read a bit and I think it said you can have different animation clips you can drop in there and blend together?
