Yeti Tutorial Prob

When Kurt converts from poly's to subd's .. his mesh is very smooth.

When I do it, its smooth but not nearly as smooth looking as his. Now I put it to a regular amount of 1000 like he set it, but its no where near as smooth as his.

I work with max so I know nurms makes a mesh smooth even if your polys are a bit off and from what I can tell, nurbs in maya is very similar.

Why does his mesh look like its got a very high amount of 'iterations' and mine don't?

Thanks for any help.
