Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

when you covert back mate sure in you sub to poly setting you have vertices clicked on.

Yep, use as Kevin said Level 0 when you convert from sub-d back to polygons! here is a minor sketsh with an idéa about tweeking... I'm not that good but a little i've learnd! So here's a tip... Just keep on modeling and you'll learn! user added image

I have not connected the head yet....for I am still tweeking it and trying to decide to make the whole body first or half body half dress.....
I may just use cloth for the top and softbody for the skirt portion...

and here is a SubD version. I still have a lot of tweeking to do.....I also have a small dilemma. I dont have a reference for the lower half of the body. I created a dress for her originally in poly but the Body does not fit the dress....I am kinda miffed on what to do. I think I am going to cut off the top of the dress and make a soft body skirt, and use cloth for the top......we shall see.....but first I have to make some new eyes and hair. And I must fix her tummy. user added image
