My Drawings ... (2d)

Keeping with the tradition started by some members around here ...
Two of my favorite drawings in my collection.
They were done about two years ago when I started in College.
Both are based on photographs, and took quite a lot of time to render, especially the Iguana one.
I´ll keep on posting in this thread future drawings if appropiate.

Hope you like it,

The second one ... quite freaky by the way.
This one won a showcase distinction in the University.

They are drawings made with pencils ranging from 3H to 8B.
Took a lot of time, a frigging LOT.

One thing though,
Sepia hue was artificially added in Photshop.
In real life they are the grey type. user added image

Adl I hate using different pencils. gets messy once you use the softer leads I just use one technical pencil....

This is one of my favrite drawings I did at the R.O.M in toronto. of a greek statue..

Kurt that looks amazing!
Love the way you handled light in it.

You´re right about the pencils, however it was in the assignments requirements. It didn´t smear too much though.
Paper plays a big factor too, thankfully it didn´t like absorbing much the B-type ones, since they were used extensively on the black spots.
