Iv'e made a start on his gun today. I'm debating wether i should add a ninja in it or if i should concentrate more on detailing the pirate.

I started working on the overall scene but it looked like crap. I wanted him to be standing on a boat but that didn't work because 3D water sucks. So i decided to take it into photoshop and muck around and this is what i came up with. I think that i might work on this more and continue on with the rest of the piece in 2D (If that is OK with the rules). I was loosing interest in this because it was getting very difficult so doing it like this may inspire me to finish.

Good pick up on the eye. It'll be a pain to fix it so i may just make his other eye a bit squinter or give it an eye patch or something.

After problems with my old PC i got it fixed but after some problems my entire hardrive, along with a couple of months worth of 3d models and some other jobs, was completely wiped. I have sent it off to be checked but i don't think it can be fixed. It's a shame to because i lost some other important stuff with it.
