Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I want to model, almost try it, this space girl. What is the best method to make every part of the armor? Thx

Nurbs or SubD, whatever youre more comfortable at (or you want to get more experience with...)

When i modelled it i used nurbs to layout the shapes then converted to polys to detail it.

I always use polys.. but thats just me..

I think with nurbs you get more detail... but thats only my humble opinion... user added image

I would use polys but thats only because Im crap with nurbs user added image
