Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

paying for points
just doing the jedi ship tut got up 2 vtm 6 and run out of points so i talked myself into parting with some cash , but when i try i get error with my email address saying that i have it registerd with paypal on another account this maybe true.but i didnt get this error when i first signed up for points.
what am i doing wrong help
