awesome ill check it out.. just wondering though.. why so many books teaching certain things.. why not one big book?? those things get expensive... the price of the software was bad enough..

There is just too much stuff, it wouldnt be possible to fit into one Big book... Theres modeling which brakes up into polygons, sub d etc, then theres animation which includes rigging, rendering, the hypergraph, mel.... and the list goes on.

look really nice - i would just make the hands a bit smaller ...

maya fundamentals 4.5 - yes this book is really good ... i had the 4.0 version of this book, but as i have seen in a shop its more or less the same ...
