its a never ending process... but i would say you could pick up a lot in just a few months if you work hard at it

you can get the basics down in a few months, thats what i did, you have to work at it tho, and because uve been working so fast in the first few months, when u hit a big problem everything seems so slow, just like with me now user added image

Bam-0 hang around here the the SM team will show you the way they are so helpfull as for me i am new to maya as well i have used the links that the SM team have posted and sit down to a lot of reading and it a lot user added image
