its not complete yet :p need to model the underside and the back of it, it is polygons,

Tyro, can you do a quick overview of how you shaped the main body and canopy? I started a snowspeeder a long time ago but could never seem to shape it properly. Btw, it's funny you should post this as I was just goofing around with some speeder animation tests last week (speeder mesh was an .obj file downloaded through sci-fi3d...animatics are simple playblasts). Nothing remarkable but if you'd like to see:

i basically traced a reference picture found.


ummm, i just moved CV's to the edge to form the general shape then moved them down to match the front pic

Traced a flat plane in the shape of the top view with the create poly tool, then adjusted vertices?

sorry should of been more clear user added image i started with a box, the bottom CV's were scaled out and the placed to the corners of the wings, split the polygon so i could get the other corners and then i extruded the top to get the cockpit shell,
