Excellent modeling!

Cool Idea TalNinja, I don't Know why I did't think of it. Kudos:attn:

edit: strange but I can only see your pics if I'm not logged into the SL forum. Ah well, no matter. In the next comp I'll post the model on both forums ... assuming they are are still sepeate. If not then the point is moot.

Thanks sandman300
Maybe you can try to post a copy here, but from a different site?

This is my model. These shots were posted on SimplyLightWave:

I think that the reason, that these photos can be seen by anyone, is the fact that they are posted on a different site anyway. I wanted to hear opinions from anyone. Not just from people that enrolled to SL & SM sites. :bandit:

If the sites will remain the same for the next period, just be aware of that for our next comp. user added image

Seems like a working site for the mentioned method.
You can use any of the photos URLs there, in order to post them here. user added image

sandman300: nice modeling

TalNinja:you have to learn how to control your subdivision surface. the best for you is to learn to model with poligon's in such way that when you convert poligon to subdivision you don't have to modifaid the surface. You wil do that bu adding edges to control the smoothness and sharpness of your object

Thanks goksimaster. I'll try this method. user added image
In the beginning I've tried SubD with the value of 3. Later I've increased it in order to make it look smoother.
My biggest problem was with the front head light. It didn't look very good in the beginning.
I guess that round objects "doesn't go that easy" just as plain polygons... :p
