Man this is awesome! Dude, this gecko rocks! I love how you have added the bit of noise to your renders, and gave him that green/white belly look user added image. The guns actually seem to work for the little guy user added image. I personally am not a huge guns fan, so you will never see any on my beast this month. But when the time comes for guns.... ooh.. my guns will be big! lol.

it looks even more like the 3dmark 2000(?) lobby shot user added image(witch is so coool *_*)
a trench coat and some sweet shades and youve got a matrix gecko user added image

Al, i think a matrix gecko would be great user added image , but I can't fit the glasses on his stupid gecko head... Ill try and work something out.

Whoa, i gotta learn more about bumpmaps! Damn could you ever post the bumpmap so i can learn from it? Also could i see your texture map? or was it a shader? Anyways, in any case.. amazing!

M, here ya go. I usually paint my color map first, then derive my bump map from that, and then derive my specualrity map from the bump map.

Also, heres a shot of the shader network I used.

All the stuff on top is to achieve the shiny metal effect, and it is connect to the materials reflected color.
