Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Howdy Folks!

Hi everyone, just saying 'ello cos I'm a newbie here......

Not done a lot of 3D work, but I'm really willing to learn everything there is to learn here, and judging by the quality of some of your work I've come to the right place! I have access to Maya 4.5 at work so I'll be doing some serious overtime methinks!

Is there anything I should "start off" with?

Adam.

Try the hand tutorial! It's really handy, and from the stuff you learn from that you won't strictly need the 3rd part, but after that, get mostly all tutorials on the site, especially texturing ones etc. user added image

Hello youse,

welcome to the forum, I'm a newbie too (kind of, didn't really use this forum much til recently). Good to have you onboard. Check out the challenge forum, maybe do something yourself. Only way to learn = practice and ask questions.

By the way mate, we have a small tradition here in SM.
You have to post a pic of your female companion -if aplicable- in the SM Gang Thread located Here.
You have to send me and me buddies -mods- some beer too. :p
