Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

No, points are only usable at the sites you purchased them from.

Kevin, i still say, and many will agree that points need to become transferable, if at all posible.

I may ask for soem money, for Christmas, for SPS points, if the tuts are quality. Also, (if you need Vids) if i can find some screen capture program, i would LOVE to make some space and/or texture tuts for the site.

I don't think the price of the tutorials are bad at all in the first place.. so getting points for a different sight is not that big a deal in my opinion. I mean, photoshop cost how much ? and Maya ? You know sometimes I think that might be part of the problem. the Programs cost so much it leaves you feeling like damn, they have a long ways to go in showing me how to use it...

just .02

BTW I don't think transferable points is a bad idea in its self but I think that it would be a overburdening hassle to code that ability in to different sights and databases.

Not if you make a central database with various braches.

It's not practical for us at the moment I'm afraid

Will will transfer points for you manually, providing you do it in lumps of 14 or more.

Maybe a bit more maybe a bit less, depends on length et cetera. We always try for value for money, but hell, a mans got to eat :bgreen:
