Best way to export from Maya to ANSYS or SolidWorks?

I purchased this Maya skeleton:

Now, I need to send the cranium to a researcher who will perform some simulations for me.

He tells me that he can accept any format which is compatible with ANSYS or SolidWorks.

This is the first time that I use Maya. I already tried some experiments. Got lots of error messages.

I need something straightforward and reliable.

What format would you suggest?
