I dont have a problem with Maya, but rather Internet Explorer

I cant open link it new windows[like when you hold Alt and click on the link]

I was on the internet earlier, so it's only just happened.

You need to hold Shift instead of Alt.

No.

I'll explane what happened. I wanted to delete Internet Explorer about a year ago [i dont know why] but it wasnt listed under the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel so i just deleted it from the C drive, but not all the files un the IE folder deleted, so now the computer thinks it is and isn't on the computer. I cant delete the rest of IE. but when i try to install, it saya i alreadu have it installed...user added image

The only way i can open IE is from the main icon on the desktop. I can only open other internet files by loading IE from the main icon then file>open...etc.

It's all confussing, and i cant be bothered to re-install XP

Yeah, but no but yeah but no....

What version of IE are you trying to install? Try installing the current version of IE is (6 SP1) and see if you can upgrade the one you have installed. If that does not work then you have to use System Restore or Re-install Windows XP.
