Groover_landing

This is my 2nd ever animation, and Im looking for crits. I was told this is THE Maya forum... so fingers crossed...

And here is a rendered vid....

It was a rushed affair, but I do know some things I would like to change...

There is an arm sticking through the cockpit as it lands (sorted though)

Ship looks a little outta control at start

Landing is a tad to abrupt...

But, if you see anything else please let me know...

Cheers

Besides the points you already mentioned, I just have to say it would be great if there were some more points of reference in the background, it's hard to judge movement.

evening!

Just thought I'd post an update....

I tried to add the logo's using projection, but it got all screwy and logos were appearing on the other side as well, but in reverse. So, I just cut up the surface and applied shaders with image files attached... But I am happy thus far...

Does anyone know why it was so screwy with Projections?
